We're moving to Tampa, Florida this summer! // Wedding Videographer

Ahh! You heard right, we're moving from North Florida to Central Florida!

I've been keeping this a bit of a secret, but the big news is out! Jacob and I are now going to be based in and taking on weddings in the Tampa, Florida and Orlando, Florida areas!!

Kemari Lyn Films is now serving all of Central Florida!!

We are going to be Tampa, Florida residents soon!! Yay!

It seems like it's been a long time coming, but it is now officially official! Jacob and I are moving to Tampa, Florida!!
We are more than excited to take on the beauty, fun, and adventure that Central Florida has to offer. To give some back story, we both grew up in the Central Florida area, and Jacob's family is in the Tampa and St. Petersburg area and my family is in the Orlando area. Jacob and I went to school at Florida State University in Tallahassee years ago and have just stayed there ever since. Tally has been good to us, but we are ready for this new chapter in our lives. We really love the idea of being closer to our family and since we're always traveling to Tampa and Orlando as it is for weddings and family gatherings, this move makes so much sense for us! The area in Tampa that we're moving to is super close to Orlando, so we're happy to be able to easily go between both cities! Also here I come Disney World!!!

We are set to move to Tampa in late July 2018!!!

I have been meeting up and working with so many amazing vendors in the Tampa and Orlando, Florida area and I am so pumped to be taking on more Central Florida weddings this year!! I could not be happier to say that we already have several Tampa, Orlando, and surrounding area weddings on the books for 2018 and 2019! I feel so overwhelmed with joy about how sweet and inviting the Central Florida wedding industry professionals have been in meeting and working with us as well as referring couples to us for this year and beyond! And to our KLF couples, thank you so much for trusting us to capture your big day! We love you all so much! We also do have some open wedding dates still available for 2018 and 2019, so if ya know of a couple searching for a videographer, hollaaaa!! haha 🙋‍♀️
I'd be so happy to chat!

North Florida, South Georgia, and Tallahassee couples, don't you worry at all, friends! Tallahassee, Florida and Thomasville, Georgia is where I started Kemari Lyn Films, so Jacob and I are always more than willing to come back here to film weddings for our awesome couples! We actually have some weddings coming up post move in 2018 and 2019 and we're definitely happy to continue to travel back any time in the future! Tallahassee has been our home for nearly 8 years, so it's a part of us forever! Go Noles!!!! ❤️💛

What this means for you!

  • From now in 2018 and onward, we'll be based in and serving all of Tampa and Orlando, Florida and their surrounding cities like St. Pete, Clearwater, Sarasota, Lakeland,Daytona, Lake Mary, Sanford, Winter Springs, etc. without any travel fees. Those areas are gonna be our home turf now! Yay!
  • We will now be able to take on more weddings in the state of Florida as a whole with our central location! So here's to more North, Central, and South FL weddings!
  • For 2018 North FL and South GA couples, I will not be charging any travel fees for Tallahassee FL, Thomasville GA, and cities within a 30 mile radius of those cities!

    Lots of love!

Thank you so much to everyone (friends, family, vendors, couples) who root for Jacob and I! We are so happy to know you and we are so full of love for you all! Our couples and the vendors we work with are absolutely incredible and I feel so blessed to call wedding videography my job. It's an absolute dream and I have so much joy seeing marriages flourish. Knowing that the wedding films we create serve as reminders for couples of not just the big day they become one, but also of the deeply rooted intimacy and wildly alive love they have and that's always worth fighting for.  ❤️Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Happy Valentine's Day // North & Central Florida Wedding Videographer

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, friends! Here's just a little recap of what Jacob and I did for Valentine's Day this year. 💕 Well we typically celebrate Valentine's Day a day or two beforehand (mostly because of the busyness the day of). So on Sunday, I was feeling pretty under the weather due to allergies. Ugh. 😷 Jacob being the sweetheart he is, he went to the store and bought me Claritin to help with my annoying allergies. When he came home, he handed me the allergy meds and asked if I wanted my Valentine's gift early. I tossed back and forth and then just said yessss I do hehe. As a side note, we keep our Christmas tree up year round haha It's a small little tree in the corner of our living room that we end up just using for decoration and a fun little twinkle in the corner of the room. ✨ Also, when we get each other gifts, we always pull them from under our tree haha. Anyway, back to the story, so Jacob pulled out a gift that was underneath our Christmas tree, and he hands it to me. Aww!! It was such a cute little gift bag covered in puppies and hearts. 🐶💕 As you may or may not know, I am a total lover of dogs! They are seriously the cutest animals (along with horses...I've ridden for years). Anyway, I'm a dog fanatic, so Jacob made my Valentine's Day gift puppy themed! So fun! It included a sweet card, chocolates (with a cute chocolate lab on the front), and a chocolate lab puppy plush toy. My dream pup is a lab either a chocolate or a silver lab would be my dream haha. So it was pretty sweet of him and made my day! Then Jacob and I literally binge watched Netflix for about 5 hours, drank wine, and ate chocolates. 🍷 It was a sweet time!

The next day, we worked as usual and then we went out to eat. Nowhere romantic haha because we both were craving a Tallahassee local restaurant called Midtown Caboose. Now I'm a vegetarian, and this is a burger joint, but they have some delicious gourmet veggie burgers as well as their regular patties. It hit the spot haha I was so hungry that day and it was a fun little time to go out with my love. Afterwards, we again kinda sorta went to a binge watching Netflix time. Ooops. haha We love our Netflix!

On actual Valentine's Day, Jacob and I went to a fun murder mystery dinner party. It was super fun and I did not suspect the right person who actually committed the crime in the game haha. Those are pretty hard to get right, but still so fun to do! I know it's not a typical Valentine's Day celebration, but hey it was a good time! Thanks so much for reading, friends!
Love, Kemari

How I Started // Tampa, Orlando, & Central Florida Wedding Videographer

How I Started

My background and the thing that drives me as a wedding videographer.

Hey there, friends! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kemari and I'm a wedding videographer based in Tampa and Central Florida. 👰🏻🎥 I just wanted to take the time here to let you know where I'm coming from.
To let you know a little more about me and why I chose to delve into filmmaking and even more specifically, wedding videography. 💕

I'm going to take you a little farther back here to when I was first exposed to the filmmaking. I was seven years old and my dad was showing me features on his handheld camcorder. He made home movies for us and also created the occasional music video (as he was in the music industry). I was fascinated by cameras and the editing process and came pretty hooked on it since. I continued with this passion mostly by acting in front of the camera or on stage. I loved all the arts really, from dancing to acting to drawing to filmmaking. I was a fine arts fanatic and went on to major in that in high school and continued to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in college. 🎓 Backing up just a touch, in high school I had a few big loves. Those were horse back riding, filmmaking, and drawing/painiting. 🎨 I knew that I wanted to be in the film industry so I researched and worked my butt off to get into the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts.

The FSU film school is a highly regarded school and is one of the top film schools in the nation...and I just had to go there. I was so determined to get in, so after much suspense, hearing the news that I was accepted sent me through the roof! My dreams were on their way to coming true! (Yes, but not necessarily in the way I originally thought.) I originally went into film school and the film industry to become either a director or a cinematographer. In film school, we were taught all aspects of filmmaking so that we would be well rounded and be able to do any job successfully. Towards the end of film school, we were given the opportunity to choose to focus a bit more on what job we'd want to do when we graduated. I leaned greatly towards cinematography. Throughout school, I gravitated towards the camera department and just got so hooked on telling stories not just through a script and words, but also in the camera work, angles, and lighting. 🎥 Shooting films brought and still does bring me so much joy!

A bit later in my film school career and as we were all looking into what we were going to do next, I realized that I would really like to spend more time with my loved ones and friends. During school, we'd be on set for 10+ hours a day. When we weren't on set, we'd be in preproduction or prepping for our current set. It was absolutely so much fun and I truly loved my experience there, don't get me wrong. Film school was one of the best times in my life, but the filmmaking and entertainment biz is definitely a sacrifice as they are very time consuming. While I absolutely love film school and the film industry, family and friends are so very more important to me. Not to get all cliche or philosophical, but life is short and I really wanted a career that would allow me to be present during the milestones of life. At this time in my life, I was about to be engaged to my then boyfriend and now husband, Jacob, and I also wanted to be there for him. It was a tough decision, but I decided to find a way that I could have a decent work/life balance while I also continue my passion for filmmaking.

As another side note, I have been (not so) low key obsessed with weddings and the wedding industry for years. Before I even was in a serious relationship with my husband, I would watch wedding shows, have wedding planning apps on my phone, various wedding Pinterest boards, and I would assist friends (and people online) with wedding advice. I just loved marriage and weddings so much (and of course, I still do...even more so now)! Through lots of research, mentoring, and self reflecting, I decided that I wanted to start my own business and become a wedding videographer. That way, I could marry (lol) the two things I love so much, weddings and filmmaking. I also have a huge passion for people and making them feel welcomed and loved. Running a boutique style wedding videography business has played so perfectly into my strengths and passions. I care so much for others and I truly love that I can document and capture people's love through films. Weddings are the start of a beautiful life journey and it is amazing to be a part of! 👰🏻

I hold marriage so highly because it's the most important thing in your life. When you commit to marry someone, you're giving yourself to another person. You're inviting them to be so deeply connected with you through the good times and the bad. You're vowing to show such strong love for a person even if you're angry, sad, happy, or complacent. As people, we go through waves of emotions and phases, but to be married, you are committing to stick to that person through it all. Marriage is so important, friends! It's not always going to be easy, but if you both are in it for the long haul, trust me when I say that it is worth it. That it is amazing and so incredibly special. I literally could talk all day about how precious marriage is. 💕

I just wanted to let you know that as your wedding videographer, I not only care about creating beautiful films for you, but also helping you with wedding and marriage advice. I want to be there to support you and to be someone you trust as a friend. I only take a limited number of up to 20 weddings a year, because I truly want to invest my all into my couples. I love being there for my clients and I do truly care about you and your marriage. It brings me such joy to see two people come together and I absolutely love being able to be there for you!

Lots of love,

Holidays 2016 & New Year 2017 // Florida Wedding Videographer

Happy Holidays 2016 & Happy New Year 2017!

Happy Holidays & Happy New Year from Kemari Lyn Films!
Here's a recap of what Jacob and I did for our holidays in 2016.

Jacob and I have family in the Orlando and Tampa, Florida area. So come holiday season, that's typically where you'll find us. We love being able to see all of our loved ones and this time of year allows us to do this! Our first visit was to see my dad's side of the at Runaway Bay Lodge. There are so many relaxing and fun things to do while at Runaway Bay. While we were there with my dad, we spent time relaxing, painting, zip lining, cooking and eating, playing games, and of course, exchanging gifts for Christmas. We always have a good time with my dad and are thankful for the time we get to spend with them. 💕
{psstt...there's more to the story after the video.}

Take a look at our "A Day in the Life at Runaway Bay" video here!

Our next stop was to visit my mom and family in Orlando. I love visiting this area and seeing my mom again. She and I have gotten so close, and I love her a lot hehe. 💕 After we arrived, we helped a little with what we could for my mom's Christmas Eve party. She cooked a ton of yummy food and we all had a great time! The next morning, we woke up and exchanged gifts. We go around in a circle and open gifts one by one so everyone can see. Also as a side note, my cousin was able to spend this holiday with us, and it truly meant a lot to have him there. We hadn't seen him in a while, and it just seemed like the good ol' days when he was there with us. 😄 Any-who, so Christmas was great and we pretty much spent the entire rest of the day playing Spades with my mom and stepdad haha. We don't play cards really with anyone in Tallahassee, so we definitely play it up when we visit my mom! ♠️️ Jacob and I lost most of the time...BUT we did get a few winning matches haha. We were so happy when we finally took down my mom and Will and won! This was a glorious moment for us seeing as we almost always lost to them. 😉 So after a couple days of hanging out, playing Spades, and watching Batman vs. Superman and Elf (lol), we headed over to Tampa to visit Jacob's side of the family.

Here's an iPhone shot of my mom's beautiful Christmas tree! Isn't it gorgeous?! We spent most Christmas day and a few days afterwards with my sweet mama, stepfather, and younger sisters. We also had a fun Christmas Eve party with some more of our family members!

kemari and jacob // florida wedding videographer

Tampa time! Jacob and I have got a large amount of family members to visit when we're here. We made sure to spend some quality time with everyone including some of Jacob's friends from high school. One of our first days is Tampa was spent at Busch Gardens! Woo! Jacob and I love theme parks and I'm a huge rollercoaster fan, so we had a blast! We rode Cobra's Curse for the first time (it just opened earlier that year and it was a pretty cool ride! It takes you up on an elevator like system while you're in the coaster cart, and then you spin around while the coaster is moving. Kinda crazy, but fun!) Our 2016 year end passes were just a few days shy of expiring, so we made a point of going one last time haha. 😉 Anyway, so after Busch Gardens we spent most of our time visiting and eating out with friends and family members. It was a great time to relax and make spend time with those we love. Cue New Years Eve! 🎆 For NYE, we hung out with at my father-in-law's house and rung in the new year with my brother-in-laws and their sweet ladies. ❤️️ I love them and I love those girls! This is how we rung in 2016 and again for 2017. We ate some yummy food, drank some wine, watched the ball drop, and set off some itty bitty fireworks haha. It was definitely a fun time!

Check out one of our still frame grabs from our last wedding of 2016! Sparkler exits are so fun and remind me of how we ring in the new year! So...

🎆 HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017! 🎆

Thanksgiving Camping Vacation // Charleston & Savannah // Florida Wedding Videographer

We went camping and city touring for our Thanksgiving weekend!

Happy {pretty belated} Thanksgiving, friends! I'm thankful for so many things including my sweet hubby who took me on a surprise 3 night multi-city/state camping trip. Isn't that so awesome?! I was so incredibly happy to go on this fun adventure with my amazing husband. 🏕🍁🍂❤️⛺️

Our Thanksgiving/Camping/Touring Trip Overview:

  • Leave from Tallahassee, FL

  • Travel through Jacksonville, FL

  • Travel through Georgia

  • Stop, stay the night and visit the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia

  • Travel through Georgia and into South Carolina

  • Stop, stay the night and visit the lovely city of Charleston, South Carolina

  • Travel back to Tallahassee, FL 🌎

Jacob and I absolutely love going on trips and adventures {even just day trips}. We really love exploring new cities, nature sites, countries, anything! haha 🌎 Jacob is the planner when it comes to our trips. He doesn't ever let me have much knowledge about what we're doing until it happens, because he loves surprising me. And he's so good at it! He knows me so well and picks touring sites, overnight accommodations, restaurants, and activities that he knows we'll both enjoy. I love this so much about my husband! 😍 He checks all the TripAdvisor recommendations, he looks on Google and other review sites to plan out our trips perfectly. Anyway, basically what I'm saying is that Jacob's awesome and he makes our adventures so much fun! ♥️

Our first stop of our little adventure was to Savannah, Georgia. We camped out in Fort McAllister State Park for the night and watched the sunset there over the lake. It was a stunning site to see for sure! 🌅 We didn't get to stay there too long since our day the next morning would be packed with touring Historic Savannah. During the night though, we played card games for hours. Jacob taught me a new card game and I did actually beat him a couple times! haha ♣️ In the morning, we grabbed some coffee, ate some granola bars and hit the road to go to Historic Savannah. We went on a trolley tour around the city and learned about the sites as well as the city's history. For those of you who may not know, I'm a huge history buff, so I totally enjoyed this! 😄 After our tour, we walked around for a little bit and then ate at a cool joint called Zunzis. I'm a vegetarian and this yummy restaurant had several veggie options, including a delicious portobello sub (which is what I got). Thanks, babe, for always picking yummy vegetarian spots! 😉 After we ate, we walked around near the shops for a bit, then got delicious ice cream from Leopold's. Let me tell you, this ice cream shop has been open for almost 100 years, and there ice cream is AMAZING! Seriously the best ice cream I've ever eaten...and I'm a total ice cream lover. 🍦 Afterwards, we walked around some more, listened to some beautiful musicians playing in the squares, and went back to the car to drive to South Carolina.

Our next and last city stop of our trip was the beautiful Charleston in South Carolina. We made camp in Lake Aire Campground where we stayed for two nights. Again, Jacob and I played cards, snacked and made sure everything was ready for our next days adventure and touring. First stop in the morning in Charleston was a visit to the Angel Oak Tree. This tree is estimated to be 400-500 years old and stands 28 feet tall. It's seriously a massive and breathtaking tree! We took some photos of it there and just could not get how large it was haha It's crazy big! 🌳 After our woodsy visit, we headed to the historic city to site see and join another tour. We took a carriage ride around the city as we learned about Charleston's history and its unfortunate involvement with slavery. Though a dark subject, it is necessary to learn about and to not downplay the events that occurred there. Later, we continued our site seeing on foot and went shopping for Christmas gifts at the shops and markets. At night, Jacob and I headed to another neat restaurant and then went to a silly and fun murder mystery theater show. We had several laughs there and finished out the night with another stroll through the city. Both Charleston and Savannah are such history rich and beautiful cities and I definitely encourage you to visit there someday!

Take a look at some of out iPhone photos from our fun trip! :)

Anniversary Caribbean Cruise // North & Central Florida Wedding Videographers

Hey there, friends! 💕 I just wanted to share with you all an awesome adventure my sweet husband and I went on recently. From August 13th to the 20th {2016}, Jacob and I went on a super fun Eastern Caribbean cruise to Grand Turk, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and Dominican Republic. We sailed on the Carnival Conquest ship and boy was it uh-mazingggg! ☀️🚢 Let me start off by praising this ship real fast. So, my husband and I have been on a few different cruise lines and ships for varying amounts of time. You may have heard that Carnival is the "party ship", but I'm gonna tell you that that is not the case (at least not anymore if it ever was). The entertainment was on point and the food was sooo dang good! Side note: I'm a vegetarian (hubby eats meat though // #nohardfeelings) and it's typically pretty hard for me to find super yummy food out. Unless of course it's delicious Thai food which is my favorite. I digress... Anyway, this ship had delicious DELICIOUS food. The staff was super friendly and what can I say, we had a blast! My husband and I agree that this was by far the best cruise we've ever been on and it definitely makes it on the list my favorite trips all together. {Now that the mini-review of the ship is done haha, I'll get on with the destinations and such.}

Our first stop on our cruise was the Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands. The water here is absolutley gorgeous! I have been to Grand Turk before on a previous cruise to snorkel with my mama and sisters. We stayed on the main beach area my first time there, but when Jacob and I went this go around, we walked about 15 minutes down the road from the main beach/port area and arrived at Governor's Beach. The walk is so worth it, because this beach had maybe 10 people at it in comparison to like the whole ship at the main area. It was so gorgeous and we felt like we had the beach to ourselves! We snorkeled in crystal clear blue-green water and saw several tropical fish. I will warn you and say, please please put tons of sunblock on (in general when cruising, but also) when snorkeling. We got tons of sun...yeah we got sunburnt. Boo. Regardless though, the water and beach itself were amazing! #beachlife #snorkellife {why am I hashtagging a blog post...it doesn't work like that...#ohwell #itsfun}. ☀️

Our next port was St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. There's actually not a whole lot to do by the cruise port unless you want to shop, and we didn't want to do that. So, Jacob and I took a taxi to the beautifully picturesque, Sapphire Beach. This was the most beautiful beach I have ever laid eyes on! (Side note: I've only been to the USA, Central America and the Caribbean...so there are other really beautiful beaches out there I'm sure.) But I am so serious when I say that this beach is gorgeous! The shore has nice trees to relax under and the water is pretty and overlooks a mountain range and other small islands. Talk about a lovely photo-op! We snorkeled here, too and here's a little story about that haha. So, Jacob went a little further out than I did. I like to stay closer to shore...because I know my place...because I'm from the land, not from the sea...the ocean is for marine life haha. If you can't tell, I'm kinda scared of the ocean...I mean there's so much in there! Ha, anyway, I was on my own snorkelin' around and I was perfectly content lookin' at these pretty yellow and blue tropical fish and I was even (sorta) ok with the creepy needle nose fish. But then all of a sudden, a giant, dark figure slowly approaches me in the water. I freaked out, but tried to stay calm. I froze and was like "Oh Lord, it's a shark. Oh, Lord, take me on home! Imma die!" (I didn't die btw haha). So, I found out in just a few seconds that it was a huge stingray, and I just skedaddled on out of there (in a frantic rush...I swam so fast out of the water). It had a huge stinger and I wanted no part of it haha (again I'm kinda {really} scared of the ocean animals). Jacob laughed so much at me because he said he saw me just floating along, and then out of nowhere, he saw me just dart out of the water haha. I did eventually go back in the water at Sapphire Beach, but I ditched the snorkel gear and just wadded near shore.

The next day was a sea day. We had two total days at sea (not back to back though). The sea days were super relaxing and Jacob and really loved that we could just relax and literally not have anything on our agenda to do. We just ate, napped, ate again, chilled in our room and watched TV (Animal Planet! Ayyy!), and ate dinner, and watched the cruise entertainment haha (we went to all the shows and they were actually pretty cool). Carnival gave Jacob and I each a $50 gift card to use in the spa since it was also our birthday month. {We celebrated Jacob's birthday on the 2nd day of the cruise--the 14th!) So on the last day at sea, we used our spa gift cards and treated ourselves! Definition of relaxation haha. 💕

San Juan, Puerto Rico was our third cruise port. 🇵🇷 ¡¡Vive Puerto Rico!! 🇵🇷 I'm half Puerto Rican, so I was pretty happy to return to Puerto Rico. I've actually only been there once before the cruise, but we stayed in PR for about 10 days I think when I first went. Anywho, Jacob and I walked around Old San Juan and visited Castillo San Cristóbal. We enjoyed looking at the historic fort and visiting a few nice shops, food stops and sites. Our first place we went to after the fort was The Butterfly People. Jacob loves butterfly art pieces, so of course we had to go and get another to add to our little collection. The Butterfly People are such artists and we really loved our time looking at all the different pieces. If ya click here, you can take a look at the butterflies we added to our home décor. We ate lunch at Casa Cortés ChocoBar where they put chocolate in all your food and drinks. Super yummy and I'm a choco-holic, so this was right up my alley. For dessert (as if a chocolate based entre wasn't enough for my craving lol), we went to Señor Paleta for a paleta de coco (coconut popsicle). I've been craving a yummy paleta for a while, so this was a nice treat for us! Afterwards, we headed back to the cruise to finish out our trip.

Our last stop of the vacation was Amber Cove (Carnival's own little port) in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Amber Cove is nice, but we wanted to explore and do something really fun. Jacob surprised me with an absolutely incredible excursion that he booked for us through Iguana Mama. This was the best adventure I have ever been on. Ever. Hands down. It was so incredible! We went on the 27 Falls of Damajagua excursion where we basically just slid down, jumped off and swam through natural cavern-like waterfalls and pools/streams. It was the coolest thing I've ever experienced. Jacob actually poked fun at me a bit because he said I looked like a little kid playing around since I had a smile on my face literally the entire time! 😄 Words cannot really describe how awesome this waterfall excursion was. But I urge you to try it if you go to the Dominican Republic!

So, that's our trip! Jacob and I had so so much fun on our birthday/anniversary combo cruise! Thanks for reading. 🎉

It's Our Wedding Anniversary // North Florida Videographers

Hello friends! I hope you all are doing well! Today is a very special day for my husband and I. It's our one year wedding anniversary! Yay! Jacob and I are so happy to be celebrating our first year of marriage. It has been such a beautiful year full of growth, love and excitement. I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man.

Jacob and I were friends for years before we started dating. We met while we attended college at Florida State University (Go Noles). We both were a part of the same campus ministry and church and that is actually where we met -- our church. I met him and was like "huh, he's cute. Nice eyes and hair." 👌🏽 Then I moved on to meet the next person (though I always thought he was cute since day one hehe). As it turns out, Jacob thought a similar thing, too, and he even remembers what I wore that first day we met. He can describe it in detail and everything! Yay, I made an impression haha.

Moving forward, we continued to see each other A LOT because we had the same friend group. We saw each other at least 5 times a week probably haha. We started to become actual friends, then good friends, then really good friends. I considered Jacob (among others, too) to be one of my closest friends. After about a three year friendship, Jacob and I FINALLY (lol) started dating. We spent even more time together and got to know each other better. I was so ecstatic when he first asked me on a date/to be with him. Partly because I liked him for a long while before he asked and mostly because he was (and still is) such a genuine, sweet and funny person. One of the things that drew me to him most aside from his amazing passion for God and compassion for other people, was his sense of humor. We always are on the same page when it comes to funnies haha.

After actually not all that long of dating, Jacob asked me to marry him one night. It was the sweetest and most sincere thing. Gahh! We began planning for our wedding and the big day itself was such a magical, loving and upbeat day. It was so great being surrounded by our closest friends and family members on the day that we became husband and wife.

Jacob and I are so grateful for the time we have together. I look forward to many more special years of marriage together! ❤️

As you can probably tell, I am a sucker for weddings and all things lovey dovey haha. 💕

A note to my hubby:

It's our wedding anniversary! 👰🏽💕💏 Happy one year of marriage to my handsome man, Jacob! I love you oh so very much! You are such an incredible blessing to me and those around you. You light up the room with joy and you care about others deeply. You help me to be a better person and you encourage me daily. You're such a good, Christ-like example to me. You lead me lovingly and kindly. ❤️ I am just so thankful to have you in my life and it's so crazy awesome that I get to call you my husband! We've grown so much in our several years as friends and husband and wife. We also continue to grow more and more each day. Jacob, you're my best friend and my biggest supporter! Te amo mucho! 😍 I'm so excited for what's in store for us and I look forward to many more beautiful years with you, my love. ☺️
