{real talk ahead!} Happy Valentines Day, friends!! And a huge shout out to my husband, my forever valentine, and my best friend, Jacob! 💕 He’s always there for me when I need it and he’s there for me even when I don’t lol. He knows me so well. If I’m being honest, I wanted to get married one day to someone I loved but never knew if I actually would meet that “special someone”. I feel so incredibly blessed to call this sweet man my husband. Jacob’s so full of joy, laughter, compassion, and thoughtfulness. Not every day is a walk in the park haha. We have plenty of lows but the highs are so amazing. And we know no matter what, we’re there for each other for the rest of our lives. I appreciate how patient he is with me and how years ago he willingly stepped up to be my second videographer for every wedding we film. He learned from me and grew and dove into an industry with me so he could see my dreams lived out. 🎥😭💜 Last year, Jacob served me so well during my off wedding season months where I underwent two major foot and ankle surgeries on my right foot. I was non weight bearing for the entire summer and couldn’t really do much but edit and sit around lol. Thankfully I had the time to schedule around my weddings so none were missed and we filmed so many amazing weddings together last year. But it was a really rough time! I didn’t/couldn’t leave the house for months. Couldn’t drive. Couldn’t take care of myself while I was recovering. And my anxiety went crazy too. Jacob was there every step of the way (the steps I literally couldn’t take because I couldn’t walk haha). As a very independent person, that was so rough for me. Jacob was so helpful and patient during a low part of my life and each and every low, high, and middle time in our lives only made us stronger. And will continue to make us stronger. We’ve been friends for 7 years, best friends for 5 years, and going on 4 years of marriage. I love and appreciate all those years together and can’t wait for 70+ more! I love you Jacob! Happy Wednesday, friends! 💕 Kemari here and I just needed to brag on my hubby (Jacob) a bit. 🥰 As you know if you’re one of our #kemarilynfilms couples or if you’re a vendor who has worked with us, you know Jacob is my second shooter. I love filming weddings together and I’m so thankful he stepped up years ago to learn how to film so he could be there to shoot with me. Having him film with me better serves our couples by always having a consistent lead and second videographer. 🎥💜 Aside from business wise which is a huge thing in my book, he’s always so caring. He’s full of (lame dad) jokes, loving cuddles, fun adventures, and he always cooks me yummy food. Jacob’s such a sweet friend and husband! Love you boo boo! 😘 // photo credit: @theredflystudio
