Morgan & Gui
Morgan and Gui were married on November 18th, 2017 on an incredibly beautiful, sunny yet cool day in South Georgia at Gin Creek Vineyard. Their letters they wrote to each other are so tearjerking!
Ahh but I'll let you watch for yourself!
Morgan & Gui
Morgan and Guilherme Rizzo Henrique are married!! Congratulations to this incredibly kind and caring pair! Jacob and I had such a great time getting to know Morgan and Gui! I remember back to our first conversation shortly after Christmas 2016 (when Morgan got engaged). She was so friendly and fun to talk to that we ended up chatting for quite a bit! We bonded over Lord of the Rings, marriage, and celebrating diverse culture. Gui is from Brazil and it was super important for the two of them to have a multicultural wedding and I think they did that fabulously! Morgan and Gui have a huge heart for God, family, and friends. It certainly shows in their relationship and in everything they do! I am so happy for the Rizzo Henriques and I am more than thankful to have been there to capture their big day and to have created sweet wedding films for them.
Also I love Morgan and Gui's proposal, so here is the story straight from Morgan herself!
From Morgan on the proposal:
"He involved my entire family which was very special to me because I have 8 brothers and sisters (who are all in the wedding party). I don't know how he was able to get all of them to keep the secret, but he had notes wrapped in boxes, nesting doll style and each of my siblings and my parents read a note about the "love story" of my family. It started with when my parents met, and then when each of their kids was born, when they adopted my siblings, when my sister got married, and when my brother got married. It ended with me reading a note that said the story continued when Morgan met Gui, and I was supposed to take the next box to him. He opened the box that had the ring and that's when he proposed, in my parent's house, surrounded by all of my family, on Christmas Eve. It was perfect!"
Oh gosh! Isn't that such a thoughtful and beautiful way to propose?! Dang, good job, Gui!!
From Morgan on how they met:
"We met through my little sister Dana (the MOH) who played soccer at the same university as Gui. She kept telling me about this Brazilian player that I had to meet and I really wanted nothing to do with it. I went out one night with Dana and some of her friends and he was there. He tried to talk to me but I pushed him away and he was just very persistent I guess (in a completely chivalrous way). He tells me he was sure from the beginning that we were going to be together and he was patient with me and waited until I felt the same way. He's been a complete gentleman and my best friend ever since."
Jacob and I are wishing you both a lifetime of love and joy!
Cheers to the Rizzo Henriques!!
